In our summer Bulletin, artist Areta Wilkinson and Gallery curator Nathan Pōhio kōrero about continuity, unpacking applied art practice using Ngāi Tahu methodology, and whakapapa. Poet and writer Robyn Maree Pickens examines Judy Darragh and Sean Kerr's In Kahoots, asking who we are actually in cahoots with in our increasingly monetised and extractive digital landscape.

Bulletin invites three contemporary writers, Abby Cunnane, Fayen d'Evie and Chloe Lane, to respond to our Touching Sight exhibition, generating new ways to look at and think around the works on the wall. And we reproduce a small selection of poems from Ōtautahi Christchurch Pasifika creatives the FIKA collective, who visited Te Wheke: Pathways Across Oceania, writing and recording poems and prose in response to the exhibition.

Also in this issue, curator Ken Hall looks at another recent Gallery acquisition, The Martyrdom of Saint Andrew, made by an unknown artist after Carlo Dolci's fascinating work that talks of a rich history. My Favourite is provided by RNZ presenter Charlotte Ryan, and our Postcard comes from Chloe Rose Taylor in Hong Kong and artist Ruth Watson gives us a fresh look at tourist trinkets with her Pagework.
