Jason Greig Blood is Thicker

The immersive, gothic world of a remarkable New Zealand artist

This stunning book is a darkly evocative exploration of the enigmatic and powerful work of New Zealand artist Jason Greig, whose monoprints and drawings conjure a singular world of mythic archetypes, inner torment and gothic seduction.

Richly illustrated, it offers a thematic and visual journey through Greig’s practice, drawing connections to old master printmakers such as Goya and Redon while grounding his work within a contemporary, often transgressive cultural framework.

Through the deep critical insights of highly regarded curators and arts writers and stunning visuals, Jason Greig Blood Is Thicker immerses readers in an unsettling, seductive world, one where art becomes ritual, and darkness reveals its strange, unyielding beauty.
